5. User Interface

AMIS Pro software follows the logic of a normal workflow in preparing a build to be 3D-printed. Typically, this includes the following steps: 

• Resource configuration
• Batch creation
• Part import (and preparation)
• Nesting
• Slicing

These workflow steps are represented in the Top Bar of the program. This bar also contains a "resources" tab, located at the right of the top bar.

AMIS Pro consists of the following main windows:

• Top Bar, representing the above process steps;
• Menu Bar, with content/features depending on the menu chosen in the Top Bar;
• Batch overview window, containing an list of all parts added to the batch;
• Visualisation Window, giving an interactive view of the (parts in the) batch; and
• Status Bar, indicating the progress of specific processes.
